Events & Facilities Coordinator
I have been working as a Full-Time Employee at Langara College as the Events & Facilities Coordinator within the Athletics Department for almost 4 years. I handle many of the day-to-day functions in the department such as drop-in gym sessions for the students. I also help with the logistics and equipment of our college teams.
Woodworking
A hobby that I picked up and learned recently is woodworking. I have made several small projects this past year. Here is a gallery of photos of some of my projects.
Hola Latinos
I was involved with Hola Latinos (formerly Hola Latino Show) from 2019 to 2023. I started off as a translator, translating the episodes’ audios in Spanish to English for our English speaking viewers on NovusTV. César Calle, the founder, then asked me to host my first episode in May 2020. Since then, I periodically made an appearance on the program as one of the hosts of the monthly program. I had a monthly segment in the program titled “En bici con Mickey,” where I would showcase different places in Vancouver while I rode my bicycle.
Save on Foods Produce Rap
One of my first jobs was working at Save on Foods (2015-2017) as a General Clerk. I got trained in multiple departments, but especially enjoyed working in the Produce department. Being surrounded by a positive & good vibe team, I was inspired to write this rap, perform it on stage at a work party, and film a music video for it.
